On Australia Day 2026, Government House Victoria invites you to join their annual January Open Day, returning with another diverse program of entertainment for all ages.

Guests can explore the historic State Apartments with a self-guided tour of one of Victoria’s most iconic buildings.

Around the gardens, visitors can enjoy live performances, free activities and roving entertainment throughout the day.

You can pack a picnic to enjoy with views of the city skyline and Government House, or purchase from food vendors and community barbeques on-site.

Entry is free with gates opening at 10.30am and closing at 3.30pm.
