Australia Day

This event will be of great significance, marking the best Australia Day celebration for the Chinese community in Perth. It provides an excellent opportunity to reflect, respect, and celebrate on Australia Day, enhancing the sense of belonging for Chinese migrants.

The event will gather all Chinese groups and organisations to celebrate Australia Day and engage local businesses such as photography companies, newspapers, electronic media, retail, food industry groups, and individual artists. We welcome people of all ages, genders, and abilities to attend our event.

Main event activities include setting up Australia Day decorations, entrusting a qualified catering establishment to provide food and drinks (with no nuts or eggs, and clearly labelled ingredients), singing ‘Advance Australia Fair,’ an Aboriginal performance, a community leader’s speech, multicultural performances, craft workshops, and an award for Outstanding Contribution to the Community.
