The Shire of Capel is delighted to host the 2025 Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony and Community Awards. We will join together to applaud our new community members and exceptional achievers, recognising their outstanding contributions to our community.

The event promises a reflective atmosphere, with highlights such as inspiring speeches from the Shire President, a special presentation by an esteemed Australia Day Ambassador, enriching entertainment, the citizenship ceremony, and the presentation of community awards.
These awards span across diverse categories, acknowledging the efforts of
community groups, senior citizens, adults, and young individuals.
To express our gratitude, a complimentary brunch, will be offered to all attendees.
