Africause will host a community dinner celebrating what it means to be Australian. This event invites African-Australians, multicultural communities, First Nation people, and People with Disability to reflect, respect, and celebrate together. The evening will begin with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony performed by a local Wurundjeri Elder, followed by addresses from former Victorian Premier, the Honourable Jacinta AllanSton, and Africause CEO, Dr Berhan Ahmed, who will share messages of harmony and inclusivity. Enjoy African live entertainment featuring drumming, music, dance, and costumes, along with live performances from First Nation people. There will also be displays of typical artefacts and musical instruments by First Nation people, who will explain their significance to attendees. Celebrate with us and embrace the spirit of unity and diversity.
