Australia Day will be celebrated in Broome with a sensational new free family concert and fireworks show hosted by the Shire of Broome.

The alcohol-free Shire of Broome Australia Day Fireworks and Family Concert will get underway from 5pm in Lions Pioneer Park at Town Beach, with children’s entertainment, food stalls and music by seven-piece band Miss Behave and the School of Funk.

The fireworks show is scheduled to start at 8pm and has been sponsored by Buru Energy Limited. The fireworks will be launched from a barge moored in Roebuck Bay, meaning excellent views will be available from Town Beach and a host of other locations.
