The program at Highfields kicks off at 9:30am with the Milking of the Cow, followed by blacksmithing, tinsmithing, silversmithing, a working draught horse, sheep shearing, spinning and knitting throughout the day.

Youngsters will love the animal nursery, full of baby animals!

The Village View Gallery will feature an exhibition of Indigenous paintings with special guest curator Don Nikkelson.

There will also be a sausage sizzle at lunch time.

You're invited to join in the fun and enter the damper making competition at 12noon with judging at 1.30pm.

The Australia Day Flag-Raising will take place at 2:00pm, and a Toowoomba Regional Councillor will present the Australia Day Awards to recipients from Highfields.
