Tony Beddison AM
Tony Beddison AO is the Chairman of The Beddison Group which is a national recruitment and staffing organisation that includes HOBAN Recruitment and Clicks IT Recruitment and was founded in 1977.
He is also the Chairman of the Royal Children’s Hospital, a Director of the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, a Director of the Australian War Memorial Anzac Foundation, a Director of the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation and a Committee member of the Moonee Valley Racing Club.
He was previously Chairman of the 2007 FINA World Swimming Championships, Chairman of the Australia Day Committee from 1999 until 2004, and was Chairman of ‘Australia Remembers’ (Vic), the celebration of the 50th anniversary of World War II.
He was a member of the Council of the Australian War Memorial for five years until 2000 and was a member of the Committee for The Centenary of Federation (Vic).
He is a Foundation Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Fellow of The Australian Institute of Management, an Associate Fellow of The Australian Human Resources Institute and a Certified Recruitment Consultant.
In 2002 he was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for service to business and the community, and in 2003 was awarded the Centenary Medal.
His hobbies are horse racing and farming.
