Paul started playing bass in various Melbourne bands in his teens.Hit singles with Mushroom signed recording band The Runners ,Endlessly and Sure Fire Thing; were followed by his solo album Under A Southern Sky which was recorded in London and featured the singles Under a Southern Sky and the national top ten hit Stuck On You. Paul went on to record his next album in New York with the legendary musician and producer T-Bone Wolk. (Hall and Oates, Carly Simon, Billy Joel) Paul has written for and produced artists such as Debra Byrne, The Bushwacker’s Dobe Newton, Colleen Hewitt, Wendy Stapleton, Fisk and Cristian,, Gerry Hale's Uncle Bill and Hillbilly Moon with the legendary Peter Wells. and has recently produced Dobe Newton’s first solo album” A Convict Can’t Be Trusted” He has written the score and was Musical Director for the Australian Shakespeare production Much Ado about Nothing and Jungle Book The Concert Show which has successfully toured Australia and the finale for the critically acclaimed comedy Certified Male. In 2000 Paul was chosen to perform “ under a southern sky” for Australia Day at the Sydney Olympics at Homebush Bay. Paul also toured Australia as part of the Countdown Spectacular featuring 27 of Australia’s top rock acts performing to 100,000 people nationwide .In the last few years Paul has divided his time between writing, producing and working live and is currently working on a new album.
