Greg Evans has been a prominent face of the Australian entertainment industry for more than 30 years. His award winning career spans television, radio and film, where he has built a reputation for professionalism and an excellent rapport with the Australian people in a range of demographics.
Greg Evans, Australian National Television & Radio Personality, perhaps best known as the host of Perfect Match, the show that re-wrote the ratings history books from 1984-1989, Greg confirmed a place in the hearts of Australians, both young and old, as he provided single people with the opportunity for love! He hosted over 1,400 episodes of the landmark television show, earning himself nominations for TV Week’s Gold Logies as Australia’s Most Popular celebrity on three occasions and making him a household name across Australia.
Greg began his career in radio, and went on to be Victoria’s most popular DJ on Melbourne’s 3XY for seven years running, and his radio success earnt him the award of the TV Week Rock Awards ‘Most Popular DJ Award’ for six consecutive years.
Greg is also highly visible in his work for charity. In 1993 he was voted Chairman of The Variety Club of Australia – Victorian Region, and has spent many years helping Australia’s sick and underprivileged children.
Greg’s career has seen him work with some of Australia’s top sporting, musical and entertainment personalities in both radio and television.
Greg Evans is currently hosting the highly successful breakfast program on 3srfm in Shepparton 6:00 am till 9:00 am weekdays.
