Craig Opie was Managing Director of the Colonial Tramcar Restaurants and Eureka Skydeck. Both are major tourist attractions in Melbourne, attracting in excess of 750,000 visitors.He also owned and operated several other businesses during his career including Paperworld and Towntalk Snowballs and MPOL Collections.
Craig has a bachelor of business and has been actively involved in the tourism and hospitality industry for his entire career spanning more than 25 years.
He is currently serving on the committee and boards of numerous organizations including:
- Brothers 500 Group;
- Blue Ribbon Foundation;
- Moonee Valley Racing Club.
He has been marketing Victoria and his products internationally for more than 25 years.
Craig is an experienced media performer, including three years as host of his own radio program in Melbourne. As a committeeman at Moonee Valley Racing Club, he has been racing horses for several years with mixed success.
