Dr Sally Butler

Dr Sally Butler is a Senior Lecturer in Art History at the University of Queensland, specialising in the areas of contemporary Australian art, and contemporary Indigenous art. Sally is the author of several books about Queensland art and has curated numerous exhibitions presenting work from remote and regional areas of Queensland. For a number of years Sally was freelance arts writer for Australian Art Collector magazine and one of its associate editors. One of her great pleasures in life involves organising art and culture tours in the outback.
